Company History
Jumby Bay Studios was incorporated in May of 2000 by Jeremy and Jamie Salvatori. The primary backer of Jumby Bay Studios’ formation was Allan Salvatori. Allan has been a major player in the video production business in St. Louis since 1973. His first company, Innervision, created commercials, training programs, and corporate communications. He pioneered the “film style” method of lighting and shooting video to create a more film-like look at video prices.
Allan was so successful with this combination of high quality and low price that Innervision expanded and built a $3 million, 20,000 square foot production facility in 1980 that included the largest sound stage in St. Louis.
In 2000, Jumby Bay Studios took over the former Innervision building and updated it with all new state-of-the-art equipment.
This purpose-built facility is inherently better suited toward the needs of the discerning producer versus the typical "converted warehouse" production facility.

Where did the name 'Jumby Bay' originate?
We are asked this so often, we figured we'd put the answer online.
Jumby Bay is a very real and very beautiful place. It is a gorgeous resort location in Antigua which was often frequented during Allan Salvatori's exciting childhood and became a thematic inspiration for our studio: Techno-tropic. Jumby Bay Studios is a warm, friendly, and beautifully decorated building. It also houses some pretty cool people and equipment.
