A standard studio booking is 8am - 6pm CST. We are more than happy to accomodate shooting schedules and times outside of these 10 hours. In certain instances, overtime fees may apply.
We only charge overtime for personnel (studio manager). Overtime is 1.5 times the regular rate.
On weekends, holidays, and times outside of our normal working day, we require that a Jumby Bay Studios staff member be present in the building for insurance and security reasons. This staff member will act as a studio manager.
Double time applies on Sundays and Federal Holidays.
Scheduled time that is cancelled within 24 hours will carry a 100% penalty.
Unless other arrangements have been made, all studio rentals must be paid in the following manner:
We accept all major forms of credit card.
Becaused our building was built as a production facility and not a converted warehouse, it's easy to bring in any equipment you may need.
However, please make note of our policy regarding this: All lighting, grip, and electrical equipment used in our studio must be rented from us. We understand that our list of equipment may not satisfy your needs, so please feel free to bring in any and all equipment that we do not have available for rent.
If you use any lights that are not rented from Jumby Bay Studios, you will be subject to an electricity fee of $40/day or $20/half-day.
We require all persons renting from us to provide a certificate of liability insurance listing Jumby Bay Studios as an additional insured. This form should include minimum insurance limits as outlined below:
Jumby Bay Studios, LLC (JBS) assumes no consequential damages. Under no circumstances shall JBS, its employees, or agents be liable to anyone for lost profits, special, incidental, indirect or consequential damages result from a) defective elements, products or equipment delivered, produced or provided; b) damage or destruction of elements, whether or not such damage or destruction are caused by the negligence of JBS, its employees or agents.
Clients and purchasers agree to indemnify and hold JBS harmless for all suits, claims, demands, and other liabilities and expenses (including attorney fees) arising out of or in connection with production, duplication, distribution, contents, exhibition or other use of media for which JBS provided goods or services. This indemnification shall include, without limitation, any such claims for libel, slander, defamation, invasion of privacy, or infringement of copyright, trademark or other proprietary rights.
