What is the charge beyond 10 hours?

$89.50 per hour.

What is your electricity fee?

If you bring in your own lights, we will charge a flat electricity fee of $40/day or $20/half-day. This fee only applies if you bring in your own lights. If you rent our lights, there is no electricity fee.

What is your build day rate?

We encourage all set building to take place in our warehouse and set shop. Our building was designed as a production facility so our warehouse and set shop are quite big. However, if you need to set up in the studio, but aren't using any lights or equipment, you simply pay for the rental of the stage.

Do I have to pay for warehouse storage if I'm just using your loading dock to move items in and out of the soundstage?

Because the warehouse leads directly into the soundstage and the loading docks are connected to the soundstage, it is impossible to bring in any large items without using the warehouse. This is, of course, the most efficient way of moving items in and out of the soundstage.

Warehouse Storage fees are charged if items are kept in the warehouse for an extended period of time. For example, you're shooting cars and three different cars have been in the warehouse continuously throughout the day.

What is included with the rental of the soundstage?

In short, nothing. Well, okay, actually, you're getting a 5,600 sq. ft. shooting area with a 3-walled, 180 degree cyclorama, and a fully dimmable lighting grid. You also get two dressing rooms, use of our kitchen, access to copy and fax machines, wi-fi, and a small production office.

No equipment is included with the rental. Any and all additional equipment is charged accordingly. This means that the scissors lift is extra, the stingers are extra, the c-stands are extra, the gaff tape is extra, the silks are extra...I think you get the point.

Will I be charged for using "X"?

The simple answer is "yes".

Now, if you grab a light and two minutes later you realize you don't need it, we're not going to charge for that. So, we'd like to think that we're fair and reasonable. We'd like you to enjoy your visit and come back often!

Can I get a discount?

We wouldn't have gone through all of this trouble to put our prices online as well as in a downloadable PDF if we were going to start changing the prices!

So, to answer the question, "no". We don't ever give discounts. Even if you wanted to rent the soundstage for an entire year, we wouldn't give a discount. In fact, we'd probably charge you more because we'd be so sick of looking at you.
